The conditions apply to private individuals, organizations, companies and tour operators. If special conditions apply to a specific group, this will be stated.

The agreement:
Bookings (agreements) are definite once the GGG has received a letter of confirmation and the requisite payment has been made. ( See also : Payments ).
The maximum group size is 20 people per guide.
Participants do so at their own risk. The GGG cannot be held responsible for any damage to personal property of the participants or personal injury that occurs during a guided walk or damage caused by the participants to third parties during a walk.
Payments must be received by the GGG 14 days before the town walk. If a payment is not made on time then the GGG is no longer bound by the agreement and any letters/emails of confirmation are null and void. *
Bookings made later than 14 days before the walk, must be paid for immediately. A booking is not definitive until the payment has been received.
A booking made 5 days or less before the planned walk will be treated as an urgent case and a surcharge per guide will apply. The payment must be made immediately.
There is an extra charge per guide for walks on Sundays and Public Holidays.

* Tour operators and companies can receive an invoice on demand.

Late arrivals and no shows.
If a group does not show up at the agreed time, the cost of the booked walk will not be refunded.
If a group is more than 1 hour late then the GGG is not obliged to go ahead with the walk.
In consultation with the guide, it may be possible to go on a modified walk in the time remaining of the original walk. He/she does not have to do so.
Cancellations and alterations
In the case of a cancellation made within 14 days of the planned walk, a special charge will apply. These charges are determined per year.  **

Changes to the day, date and time of a reserved walk can be made in consultation with the GGG. Extra administration charges will apply. If the required alteration is not possible then the cancellation rules will apply.
The prices stated on the letter of confirmation from the GGG and in the price list are applicable.

With regard to the responsibilities of the GGG, the following applies:
The GGG must carry out all guided tours that have been confirmed and paid for.
The GGG can change the guide allocated to conduct a confirmed guided tour without consulting the participants.
The GGG can change the agreed programme if there are well-founded reasons to do so. This would occur in consultation with the participants. However the GGG will do its best to offer a comparable arrangement.
The GGG will always strive to conduct the guided tour according to the booking and to the satisfaction of the customer. In circumstances beyond the control of the GGG, which result in the cancellation of the tour, then the annulment of the booking will be settled in consultation with the customer.
Complaints about the organization or the manner in which a tour is conducted can be made to the management of the GGG.

– Cancellation of a confirmed booking up to 3 week before the planned tour:
A cancellation charge of  €25,00 plus any incurred expenses.
– Cancellation of a confirmed booking in the period between 3 weeks and 1 week before the planned tour:
A cancellation fee of 50 % of the total cost of the reservationvan will apply.
– Cancellation of a confirmed booking occuring between 1 week and 2 days before the planned date:
A cancellation fee of 75 %  of the total cost of the tour will apply.
– Cancellations occuring less than 2 days before the event:
A cancellation fee of 100 % of the total cost of the tour will apply.
